Products & Animals We Sell

We specialize in aquatics and sell primarily freshwater and marine livestock.   We do not sell small animals or reptiles.

You can call or email contactelmers@gmail.com for special livestock requests.  Our livestock managers will make a note of your request and do their best to fulfill it.   We will call or email you when the livestock comes in. Note that availability varies with many types of fish and livestock.

Shipping & Online Ordering

We do not have a shipping department.  Items that you see in our online catalog can be ordered for in store pickup.

Yes, we offer delivery and installation within a 60 miles radius of our store. Please visit our Services page for details and to request a quote.

You can order online from our catalog for in stock pickup.  Items that are in stock are available within 2 hours of your order.   For items that are not in stock we will email you with the approximate time it will arrive in our store and hold it until you can pick it up.

Orders are typically filled within 2 business day of receipt. (Monday through Friday)  Due to stock shortages, some items may be back ordered and available in our store  at a later date. We will notify you by e-mail if the entire order is not available. Prior to back ordering an item, Elmer’s Aquarium will either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

Elmer’s Aquarium’s web site does not offer on-line order cancellation. To cancel an order, please E-mail Us at contactelmers@gmail.com within 24 business hours of placing your order.

All payments are in advance and by credit card. If the entire order is not shipped we will credit your credit card for the appropriate amount.

Our website cannot accept gift cards at this time. You may use a gift card for a phone order.

In the Shopping Cart page, there is an option to “edit comments.” Click this button, and then enter your Elmer’s Rewards Card number or the phone number associated with the account.

Returns, Warranties & Customer Service

We give ½ credit for anything that dies within 14 days.   Please save your receipt, or we can look up your receipt if you use our rewards card.   If you can not come into the store call or email us at contactelmers@gmail.com and we will put your name in a book so that you can get credit during your next visit.

You can return any unused item to our store within 30 days of pickup.  Some special order items may be subject to a handling charge.

We offer 24 hour holds on fish.

Fish Adoptions & What We Purchase

We do not purchase used equipment. We do offer a trade-in discount on certain items.

If a fish gets too big for your tank we can accept it for adoption as long as it is good health.  We will put it in quarantine when it arrives before finding it a new home. We do not offer credit for fish that we take in.   When you want to bring a fish, put it in a large bag.  You can come in anytime. 

Reminder: Never release captive fish into the wild!

We often buy locally bred fish. If you have fish that you have raised and would like to sell please contact us through email at contactelmers@gmail.com and our freshwater department buyer will contact you..
