How old are the guinea pigs you sell?
They are around 7 weeks old.

How long do guinea pigs live?
Average lifespan is 5 years, but they can live longer, sometimes 6-8 years, when properly cared for.

How many guinea pigs should I buy?
Guinea pigs are good as singles, or in groups.  Two females work together, but two males will fight.

What is the gestation period for guinea pigs?
Average gestation is  65 to 70 days.

What do guinea pigs eat?
A diet of guinea pig pellets can be supplemented with oats and timothy hay.  A salt spool is also recommended.  Liquid vitamins should be added to their water.

Why do guinea pigs make great pets?
These adorable little animals are small, clean and easily cared for.  They enjoy being petted and cuddled.  They are also great with children because they are easy to handle.
