Chinchillas can be purchased as individuals, or you can keep them in pairs or groups.

What is the gestation period and number of young?
Gestations lasts around 111 days, resulting in 3 to 4 babies at a time.

What do chinchillas eat?
A quality chinchilla food should be their main diet.  They should also be given alfalfa cubes and one raisin daily.

Why do chinchillas make great pets?
Chinchillas are gentle, loyal and loving pets.  These cuddly animals have a lot of personality and learn to respond to their name.
