Community Tank Type 4
Angels/ Gouramis, active,
hardy community of medium/large fish
| General: | This community is designed to provide an opportunity to build a tank around the ever-popular angelfish. Make sure you buy fish of similar size, and you can watch them grow. You can start with small, medium, or large Angels, and match them with similar sized fish. Angels look best when kept in groups of 3 or more. Some tall plants in the back of the tank will make these fish feel very secure. With the proper set-up Angels are easy to breed. We sell several books that further explain breeding angels. |
| Tank Conditions: | This community tank is suitable for tanks 10 gallon or more with standard filtration and heating. Because many of these fish will grow, best results are obtained when you use a tank of 30 gallons or more. You can use live or plastic plants. Temperature range 75-82. Maintain at 1 tablespoon of salt per 5 gallons. |
| Feeding: | Feed twice a day with standard foods such as Flake food, brine shrimp, plankton, bloodworms, and algae tablets for your catfish. For faster growth rates feed 3 times a day and increase the frequency of partial water changes. |
