Wolf Fish

General:  An interesting and hardy bottom dweller that will swallow small or medium sized fish.  Requires large tanks.

Grows to: 20".

Housing:  Keep them in large tanks (75 gal or more)  with hiding spots on the bottom.

Tank Mates:  Like other predatory fish, they will swallow anything that will fit in their mouth.  Keep them with fish of similar size.  We have seen them mix successfully with Large Oscars and other Cichlids.  Some fish fish may include the fish in our Community #8, and Community #9 tanks.

Diet:  Feed frozen meaty foods such as krill or chopped fish.  They will also accept live foods.
