General:  A peaceful community fish that is very hardy and an excellent choice for beginners. Compatible in most community tanks (Community #1). Does well with guppies, moons, mollies, swords, catfish, sharks, small angels, and most tetras.  Should not be mixed with large or aggressive fish.

Longevity: 2 years

Tank Conditions: Very hardy and adaptable to a variety of tank conditions. They're tolerant of temperatures as low as 40 degrees, and therefore do not require a heater. White clouds are also suitable for fishbowls because of their hardiness and temperature range. Feed standard foods twice a day. They're not fussy eaters.

Breeding/Sexing: Difficult to sex in store, but males have a longer and more colorful dorsal fin. An easy to breed egg-layer. Good choice for your first attempt at breeding egg-layers.
