A hardy, active and colorful tetra.  Well maintained specimens will show an attractive gold cast to the body.    Like most tetras it does best in groups.  Keep it with other small peaceful fish.

Feeding:  Feed at least twice a day.  They will accept a variety of foods.  Feed flakes, along with brine shrimp, bloodworms or frozen foods.  A tetra will show its best color after you have owned it for a few months, and have given it a high quality diet.
