Rummy Nose Tetra
|
General: A lively and peaceful community fish. Like most tetras it does best in groups. Keep it with other peaceful fish. When kept in good conditions they will have a very pretty red color on their nose. They require slightly acidic water. Test the pH at least twice a month and keep it at 6.4-6.8.
Feeding: Feed at least twice a day. They will accept a variety of foods. Feed flakes, along with brine shrimp, bloodworms or frozen foods. A tetra will show its best color after you have owned it for a few months and have given it a high quality diet.
Compatibility: Fish that go well with rummy nose tetras: Community #1
