Neon Tetra
General: A very colorful and popular tetra. You can easily have success with this fish if you meet some requirements: Keep them with other small peaceful fish. Provide bushy plants and some open swimming room. Keep pH 6.5-6.8 (check twice a month). Like most tetras, they do best in groups. A school of 10 or more looks very nice. Feeding: Feed at least twice a
day. They will accept a variety of foods. Feed flakes, along
with brine shrimp, bloodworms or frozen foods. A tetra will show its
best color after you have owned it for a few months and have given it a
high quality diet. |
