Emperor Tetra

General: A very attractive, peaceful and hardy tetra. They are not a typical schooling tetra, but are still best kept in 2 or more. They do best in tanks with peaceful fish and bushy plants.
Males have longer and narrower dorsal fins with forklike protrusions in the middle of their tails.
Feeding: Feed at least twice a day. They will accept a variety of foods. Feed flakes, along with brine shrimp, bloodworms or frozen foods. A tetra will show its best color after you have owned it for a few months, and have given it a high quality diet.
