Cardinal Tetra
General: A very colorful tetra. They are not for your average community tank, but with the right conditions they will thrive. They look great in schools of 6 or more. Provide small peaceful tank-mates and bushy plants. Check pH at least twice a month and keep it between 6.4-6.8. A dark background helps bring out their color.
Feeding: Feed at least twice a day. They will accept a variety of foods. Feed flakes, along with brine shrimp, bloodworms or frozen foods. A tetra will show its best color after you have owned it for a few months and have given it a high quality diet.
Compatibility: Fish that go well with cardinal tetras: Community #1
