Horseface Loach   Acantopsis choirorhynchos


Grows to:- 7"

A mild-mannered, shy, bottom dwelling fish. Best in singles or groups of 3 or more. They will often bury into the gravel; and they like to sift through the gravel in search of food. Fine grain sand is a good substrate. Keep the tank covered, as they jump. They come from swift moving streams. Some salt in the water is recommended.  Most active at night.   Temperature:  75-80 degrees
