Red Streaks : |

due to a variety of causes. Can be caused by low oxygen levels, crowding, or poor water quality. Can be also do to parasites, or bacterial infection. Do a partial water change, check filtration, add "Fungus Eliminator" |

Turns Black Color |
as goldfish grow you notice a color change |
sometimes goldfish will turn color as they grown do their genetics. Other times this is a symptom that they are not feeling well. Try a partial water change, add Maracyn to the water and see what happens. Also make sure they have plenty of air, and are not too warm. |

Swims upside Down : |
seems to lose balance |
fancy goldfish have distorted swim bladders and this sometimes causes balance problems. Flake food diets sometimes aggravate the problem. Discontinue flake food for 10 days. We suggest you let the goldfish fast for 2 days then feed frozen or live brine shrimp to it for the next week. Also add Maracyn II to the water in case the problem is related to a bacterial infection. |
| White Spots on head of Lionheads or Orandas |
White spots are the result of new growth on the head of fancy goldfish. This indicates that the head is still developing. |
