General: A very pretty and interesting cichlid. They are mild mannered, and similar in temperament to Severums. They can be kept in singles or groups and look good in planted aquariums. They like warm water.
Diet: Like most cichlids they will accept a variety of foods such as Cichlid pellets, Cichlid flakes, frozen foods, krill. Feed young fish 2-3 times daily. Adults can be fed 1-2 times a day.
Compatibility: Good tank mates include severums, angels and silver dollars. Other fish that go well with urau cichlids: Community #6, Community #7
