Scientific Name Grows to: Temp Range Number to Buy Hardiness: Cichlasoma meeki   6"  70-80 1 or more A General:  A very popular cichlid that can become very colorful.  Typical cichlid temperament,  less aggressive towards other fish that toward members of their own species.  Very colorful when kept under optimal conditions.

Diet:  Like most Cichlids they will accept a variety of foods such as cichlid pellets, cichlid flakes, frozen foods, krill.  Feed young fish 2-3 times daily.  Adults can be fed 1-2 times a day.
