General:  A pretty cichlid.  Typical cichlid temperament; colorful; slow moving; likes warm water.

Diet:  Like most Cichlids they will accept a variety of foods such as Cichlid pellets, Cichlid flakes, frozen foods, Krill.  Some Color foods would help bring out the red color (Tetra Color Bits)  Feed young fish 2-3 times daily.  Adults can be fed 1-2 times a day.

Compatibility:  Fish that go well with chocolate cichlids:  Community #6, Community #7
